Ingredients:

Store bought tortillas (it was fairly early. I wanted minimal effort)

Sour cream

Lettuce

1 pepper

1 onion

< 1 inch of a block of cheese

Olive oil

-> Smear sour cream on one tortilla

-> Put glub (perhaps not a legit term, but just take the oil bottle and tip it forward and back again so that it makes a glubbing sound) of olive oil in small (tortilla-sized) frying pan and put on stove at low setting

-> Cut pepper and onion. Don't dice them, but keep 'em in longer pieces. It's more fun to eat that way.

-> Add pepper & onion to frying pan & cover.

-> Shred lettuce.

-> Grate cheese. Or just use pre-shredded cheese, I guess, you lazy bum.

-> The pepper & onion should be mostly done. If they've started browning/burning on edges you should take it off. If they're not as cooked as you'd like them to be, add more oil next time.

-> Put pepper & onion on the sour cream side of the tortilla.

-> Add the lettuce.

-> Add the cheese.

-> Put a second tortilla on top, sour cream optional.

-> Check level of oil in frying pan. Add more if you can't see any.

-> Place 'dilla in frying pan, still set at a low setting.

-> Once the 'dilla is lightly browned on the bottom (pry it up with a fork to check), flip it over. I used a plate and a spatula to flip it. Good luck.

-> Once both sides are lightly browned, put the 'dilla on a plate, turn the stove off, and put some water in the frying pan (it'll steam, so don't stick your face over it while you do it) & get all the crusty bits out of the frying pan so it's easier to clean after.

-> Eat and, possibly, enjoy.

Maybe next time I'll make my own tortillas. They're fairly easy. You can make them, too. Later.

Welcome

Oh hey. I like food. If you like food, you might like reading this.
I'm a college student, which usually comes first, you know, before writing about food. So, I cook food, though it's usually some kind of baking, which isn't exactly the same. I have been told that I make good food, though I'm generally just following a recipe (though I usually don't pay too much attention to exact amounts), so here goes the recipes. Since a lot of my friends don't understand cooking terms, I'll probably explain them. Most of the time. Maybe.

So yeah. Food isn't life, but it is necessary. Might as well enjoy both of them.
